Functional Medicine

Functional medicine has been defined as “a dynamic approach to assessing, preventing and treating complex chronic disease.” This approach is critical given the rising incidence of chronic disease.

Functional medicine practitioners recognize that interactions between your environment, lifestyle and genetic predisposition cause physiological and biochemical disturbances that lead to problem symptoms and eventually to chronic illness.
